Review : Great Watch - can't believe the value
The Seiko came a few weeks back and I have been enjoying it thoroughly. I am in Hawaii right now and it has been in pools and in the ocean and after a quick wipe down, looks great again.
I had a Pulsar diver's-style watch for only 3 weeks when the crown and spindle came off entirely. The screw-down crown and chrono controls on this Seiko seem to be tough as nails. Seiko should apply a bit more durability to their Pulsar line, I guess. You can tell the difference between them and the price differential was only about $75-$100. Might as well be hundreds.
I considered various automatic watches but ended up asking myself why. This watch is dead accurate and does not require a replacement battery since it is the solar-powered model. It may not last forever, but we will see. It seems to be a past-time to see how many minutes economy-priced automatics gain or lose by raters on the Internet, but I want a tough watch that tells time using interesting technology that...
