Review : Nice Watch, But Was Not Working Upon Arrival
I ordered this watch as a gift for my youngest daughter's boyfriend. They both attend college together. My daughter did alot of research prior to deciding this would be a great gift for her boyfriend because Victorinox has a great reputation for making fine watches. That being said, my daughter and I were disappointed because the watch was not working upon arrival.
After calling Amazon, she took the watch to a local jeweler to check if the battery needed replacement. The jeweler replaced the battery and the watch worked well. When I purchase a new watch, especially a battery-operated one, I expect it to be working. The replacement battery was $10 and the inconvenience having to take the watch could have been easily avoided.
Delivery was great, otherwise I would have given a one-star rating. Had the watch arrived working, I would have given this a 5-star rating.
