Review : Impressing, but hard to tell time with!
I have this watch and I totally agree. It's a beautiful watch. It's a little heavy, but I like heavy watches. I received it as a 25 year gift from the company I work for. The only negative I have with the watch is that the hour and minute hands are hard to see because they blend in with the face of the watch. In certain lighting conditions it's very difficult to tell the time. You have to find just the right angle to see the hands on the watch.
If you want a watch primarily for it's looks, this is one to consider. I receive several positive comments about it's looks. However, if you absolutely NEED a watch for telling the time you may want to look for one with hour and minute hands that are easier to read, or you can always use your cell phone to get the time and use the watch to impress people. ;-)
So I give the watch 5 stars for quality and appearance, but 2 stars for actual functionality. Overall I would give it a 3-4. If Bulova would make the hour and minute...
